The Welding Fume Team (WFT) was established by HSE in 2010 and has a broad membership with representatives from across a range of interests. Three vocational education and training-based (VET) learning products/materials were developed in order to raise awareness of long latency respiratory health risks in three of the high risk vocational areas affected by these issues. The aims of the study were to explore how the VET materials can be implemented, and the perceived effectiveness of the implementation.
